This policy explains what personal information CorePath Talent (“we”, “us”) collects through corepathtalent.com and in the course of our recruitment work, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email jonathan@corepathtalent.com.
Who we are
CorePath Talent is an AI and technical recruitment partner for startups. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
- Candidate information. If you are a candidate, we may collect your CV, work history, skills, location, salary expectations and contact details, either from you directly or from professional sources such as LinkedIn or referrals.
- Client information. If you hire through us, we collect business contact details and information about the roles you are recruiting for.
- Technical information. Our web host records standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls.
- To match candidates with suitable roles and, with your agreement, introduce you to our clients.
- To manage our relationships with clients and candidates.
- To keep our website secure and prevent spam.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent, our legitimate interest in running a recruitment business, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or legal obligations, depending on the activity. We will not share a candidate’s details with a client without telling the candidate first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Clients you have agreed to be introduced to (candidates).
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (GoDaddy), email provider and spam-protection service, under appropriate agreements.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or other countries. Where we transfer information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by law.
Cookies and fonts
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set essential cookies if you log in. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and manage our relationship with you. We keep candidate information while it is relevant to current or likely future roles, and review it regularly. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, to object to our use of it, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email jonathan@corepathtalent.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.
If you are in the UK or European Union and are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including keeping our website software up to date.
